NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 – Mittelklasse der neusten Generation

Hervorragende Ausstattung
Die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 wurde am 03.01.2023 veröffentlicht und gehört damit zur neusten Generation von NVIDIA-Grafikkarten auf dem Markt. Mit 8 GB GDDR6 Grafikspeicher und einem 128 Bit Grafikbus, der mit 16 GB/s arbeitet, bietet die RTX 4070 Leistungen des höchsten Standards. Mit dem neuen 4 nm - Fertigungsverfahren ist die Rechenkerndichte so hoch wie noch nie. Wie alle GPUs der RTX-Reihe bietet sie Unterstützung für Raytracing und G-Sync.

Laut NVIDIA gibt es verschiedene Varianten der Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, die zwischen 35 – 115 Watt Leistungsaufnahme skaliert sind. Welche Leistung erreicht werden kann, ist abhängig von eben dieser TGP und der verwendeten Kühlung. Auch unterstützt die Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 die neue Version von der DirectX API: DirectX Ultimate, damit ist Raytracing möglich.

Neue Architektur
Die GPU verwendet einen AD107 Ada-Lovelace Chip, der laut NVIDIA verbesserte Leistung beim Raytracing ermöglicht und ebenfalls einen zusätzlichen Leistungsschub bei Shaderberechnungen bieten soll. NVIDIA verspricht eine Verdopplung der Bandbreite, der Raytracing-Kerne und der Tensor-Kerne. Verglichen mit der Desktop Version der RTX 4060 ist die mobile Version logischerweise deutlich langsamer. Nach ersten Tests soll die NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 eine Leistung haben, die zwischen der NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 und der NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti liegt.

Zu neu für Benchmarks
Aufgrund der Neuheit der Grafikkarte können sonst nur wenige Aussagen zur Leistung gemacht werde. Die Grafikkarte ist Teil der neusten Generation Gaming-Grafikkarten und ist damit mit Sicherheit eine der zurzeit leistungsstärksten Grafikkarten von NVIDIA. Für eine genaue Leistungsbestimmung ist es aber noch zu früh. Trotzdem wird die Grafikkarte schon in Gaming-Laptops verbaut. Kombiniert wird sie mit den besten CPUs der neuen Generation von Intel, wie der Intel Core i9-13950HX, der ebenfalls neu auf dem Markt ist. Insbesondere Razer verbaut die neue Grafikkarte schon jetzt.
